In the early hours of the morning, when the world still rested in a delicate veil of sleep, I ventured out into the Parque Natural de Los Volcanes on Lanzarote. The air was filled with the silence of the night, interrupted only by the gentle sound of the wind whispering the mysterious stories of the volcanic landscape.
An enchanting spectacle stretched out before me as the first golden rays of the rising sun tickled the horizon. Monte Mina, majestic and sublime, rose from the delicate ground mist that shrouded the volcanic paths like a shy secret. At 444 metres high, the mountain almost seemed to touch the sun itself as it shrouded its contours in warm light.
The Canary Islands slowly came to life and the colour palette of the sky changed from rich orange tones to soft shades of pink. The landscape looked as if it had been painted, a masterpiece of nature in which the volcanic earth and sky danced together in perfect harmony.
Beneath this celestial spectacle, I felt tiny and yet inseparable from the sheer endless beauty of this island. The silence was broken by the soft chirping of birds welcoming the new day, and I lingered a moment longer to hold the marvellous interplay of nature and light in my heart. At that moment, the photo became not only a witness to the sunrise, but also the keeper of an unforgettable moment in the Parque Natural de Los Volcanes on the magical island of Lanzarote, nestled in the heart of the Canary Islands, a place where the poetry of nature is anchored in every ray of sunshine.
