The Nublo rural park, the largest nature reserve in Gran Canaria, protects a series of natural treasures and the most important symbol of the island: the monumental lava rock Roque Nublo. The 26,000 hectare park in the west of Gran Canaria, with 30 small villages, is recognised by Unesco as a biosphere reserve. It protects natural areas with a rich biodiversity full of unique plants, from cool Canarian pine forests to arid plains at the mouth of the valleys. You can see the Teide volcano on Tenerife in the distance.
Landscape photographer and drone pilot Koen Henderickx will gladly take you on a discovery of the most beautiful places, both close by or a little further away.
His mission is to introduce people to the beauty of nature, from water, the land or in the sky via drones.
