About ‘Passion flower’ by didier de borle
Originally the passion flower comes from Peru and Brazil in South America. Jesuits see in the flower the striking appearance of the corona the symbolism of the mystery of the Passion of Jesus Christ. The corona are the blue-purple thin, thread-like filaments that emerge from the petals.
