"Pastel: Drops decorate the morning star" is a macro photo of water droplets hanging from vde seed pods of a morgen star. This edited photo has a fresh look. This is partly due to the beige color of the fluff in combination with the fresh blue / blue-green / turquoise background
The depth of field is small, (only a few millimeters of the fluff and droplets) this creates, in addition to a dreamy atmosphere, a sense of depth in the work. In some parts the droplets become so blurred that they seem to merge into each other. In other parts where the focus is, on the contrary, the drops are razor sharp again. The drops also help to create this dreamy atmosphere, they reflect the light and this creates sparkles on the water droplets.
The texture of this fruit fluff is very fine and forms a beautiful structure to which the water droplets cling. In the background you can still vaguely see the structure of water droplets on a reflective surface.
