Because my grandfather's paintings and ceramics were everywhere in my parents' house and because my mother also painted, I was naturally inspired to express myself creatively from an early age.
My grandfather, Gustav Spörri, made a living from art. If you type his name into Google, you'll find lots of vases by him and a book written about him. But he also painted hundreds of pictures.
