With 4 colours per square strip, there are 6 possible arrangements.
No new motif is created by rotating each 90 degrees (4x).
Two diagonally opposite square strips have the same sequence of colours, but are twisted. The square stripe in the center has another sequence of colors
Thus 3 permutations of possible 6 are represented (3 of 6).
By suitable rotation of individual square strips further combination possibilities arise.
