With 4 colours per square strip, there are 6 possible arrangements.
No new motif is created by rotating each 90 degrees (4x).
Each square stripe has a different sequence of colours, therefore no statement about orientation.
Thus 6 permutations of possible 6 are represented (6 of 6).
By suitable rotation of individual square strips further combination possibilities arise.
