To the right of Jesus his mother is the Virgin Mary and to the left of him is Moses , who holds the tablets with the Ten Commandments. On the left side of the painting (on Jesus' right hand) are the blessed, while the damned fall into hell on the right side. At the base of the painting are the dead, dying and those who are simply resurrected.
