View from the dyke to the Pilsum lighthouse during a beautiful sunrise. The lighthouse is a landmark of East Frisia and is best known from the film "Otto - der Außerfriesische". It is therefore one of the best-known lighthouses in Germany.
The lighthouse leans slightly to the east (right in the picture). Over the decades, the often strong wind has caused it to lean in this way, as the foundation itself is not supported. This is not an image error.
