The flowering plants hang from the railing of a bridge in the village of Hoornaar, municipality of Molenlanden. The flowers were deliberately brought into focus when the photo was taken. The mill out of focus in the background is the Scheiwijk mill, a polder mill built in the year 1638 to pump out the excess water in the polder.
