About the artwork

This atmospheric landscape shows the picturesque coastal town of Piran in Slovenia at the blue hour. The sun has already set, but there is still a soft, warm glow over the horizon. The first lights illuminate the narrow streets and historic buildings of this charming old town, which stretches out into the calm Adriatic Sea like a peninsula.

Thanks to the long exposure time, the water appears velvety and silky, while the clear contours of the Mediterranean architecture are preserved. The image combines romance, tranquillity and the Mediterranean way of life - captured using a professional long exposure technique that perfectly reproduces the special lighting mood.

The composition and the play of colours create an almost painterly impression and make this work an ideal wall decoration for lovers of travel photography, southern Europe and maritime idylls.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
