About ‘Plants in the dark’ by Catharina Mastenbroek
Black and white drawing on black paper of plants in a courtyard in Amsterdam. I have worked with white chalk and pencil. The leaves of the plants have veins that stand out well against the black background. This drawing shows how rich nature and pencil can be. The leaves show a multitude of structure and pattern.
