I met this sweet man, wearing a traditional embroidered kumma on his head, at the Nizwa Fort in 2020. While walking by, we looked at each other. His eyes radiated so much kindness that made me want to get to know this man a little better.
I sat on a bench with him for a while and tried to have a chat with him as far as was possible with us. Anyway, it was clear that he has a stall at the Fort where he sells his wares. And it was ok if I took a portrait of him.
Afterwards, he invited us to his home. Behind a large wooden door hid a huge hall where a bowl of fruit and tea was already waiting in the hall. The Omanis are so hospitable.
