About ‘Portrait of a Saddle-billed Stork’ by Chris Stenger
This work shows a portrait of a Saddle-billed Stork (Ephippiorhynchus senegalensis) foraging in the reeds of a marsh. The large bird is alert and looking towards the camera. The tall reed vegetation provides a harmonious background, against which the bird stands out beautifully. I photographed this Stork in Moremi Game Reserve in Botswana
