This Urban Street Art variant of the portrait of a girl in blue is soft and tough at the same time. Endearing and refreshing. I can still remember that about 15 or 20 years ago someone told me that this original work of art, next to La Primavera by the Italian Botticelli, was her absolute favourite. I was young, inexperienced and had never seen this painting in my life. I had started art school purely out of the inner need to create, but I had never taken art history itself that seriously. Now I teach there is, that's how life can run :)

But, coming back to this painting. It has something soft and endearing at the same time. But at the same time I feel sorry for the little girl, the little child, setting there all dressed up in her serious attitude, with her lace clothes, with gold embroidery and her pearls. If this were my own child I would ask if she is okay.

Nevertheless, I think it is a beautiful painting to look at and therefore extra fun to edit it now in this modern version in which several layers of images are superimposed and shine through each other and then mirrored again and again to create the effect of a kaleidoscope. obtain. In this way I give the good child a bit of brutality again.

A wonderful street art vibe of torn-off posters. The end of the show off, the beginning of reality. Because reality is always more layered than we can initially see with the naked eye.
