Not for nothing is the lion the King of the Jungle. With his penetrating gaze, this African Lion is portrayed against a black background to make him even more impressive. Getting a Lion into your studio to put him in front of a black background might not be such a good idea. Fortunately, he was already in front of a dark background and it is then a matter of patience until he looks straight into the camera lens.
Of all the feline predators, only the tiger is bigger than the African Lion. The imposing appearance of male lions in particular is mainly defined by his huge mane, which together with his somewhat arrogant look and glance commands a lot of respect.
