In the evening, after the lights have been switched on, you have a fantastic view of Prague's Lesser Town with the Lesser Town Bridge Tower, Hradcany Hill and Prague Castle from Charles Bridge.
Charles Bridge (Karlův most in Czech) is a bridge built over the Vltava River in the 14th century. It connects Prague's Old Town on the right bank with the Lesser Town on the left. It is the oldest preserved bridge over the Vltava and one of the oldest stone bridges in Europe. The bridge was given its current name after Emperor Charles IV in 1870 and is considered a symbol of the city.
