About ‘Puffin’ by Larissa Rand
Puffin in its natural habitat. The photo was taken in Norway.
Puffins are seabirds that only come ashore to breed. They often do this high up on cliffs by the sea.
They are very distinctive birds because of their brightly coloured beaks and fun behaviour. When they want to land, it often looks a bit awkward.

Photography in nature is my great passion. I also like to do sports outside. To make beautiful pictures of nature, I regularly spend a day in a photo hut or if I have the chance, I travel. There are still many countries and species on my wish list, but I can also enjoy nature close to home. I love owls and birds of prey, but also big game (bears, cats, wolves, deer, etc.) I find very cool to get in front of the lens.
