On a unique photo trip, we visited some beautiful locations in the Faroe Islands.
What I was most looking forward to was visiting Mykines Island. Just the boat trip to it was a thrill. The sea was very rough at the time.
Once on Mykines, we were escorted by a guide to the puffins. We were able to photograph these funny birds up close. They were not shy at all. Curious, the happy little heads looked at us photographers.
This photo shows the puffins in their natural habitat. On vegetated high cliffs, they look out over the adjacent sea.
