Just above the town of Garda is Punta San Vigilio, a former country house converted into a restaurant and hotel. One of the most idyllic and photogenic spots on Lake Garda. Sunrise shines a warm light from the right, because of the early hour there are no people on the pier or on the quays yet. The coot on the stone on the right side of the pier is a bonus.

The image is composed of 14 overlapping, separate photos and achieves a total angle of view of over 180 degrees. This makes the building look like it is on an island in the middle of the lake. The physical size of the image is over 11,000 pixels on the long side, allowing for photo print enlargements (in the very highest resolutions) of over 200 cm without loss of quality.
