For us, it was a bit of a drive to get to the Posbank. And we were keen to photograph the sunrise. From Delfzijl, it is at least a two-hour drive, so the alarm clock was already set for 3:00 am.
August is the time of year when this beautiful area on the Veluwezoom turns beautifully purple, and only for a short time.
At first, it didn't look very pretty in terms of sky, it was overcast and the sun didn't come through. Until this moment, for a moment the sun squeezed in and illuminated the coloured heather! Thankfully, the trip to the Posbank was not in vain.
