About ‘Rain’ by Marion Kraus
It is as if rain is falling from the grey surface, which is shaped like a cloud. The red streaks coming from the cloud are reminiscent of rain, and the dots on the upper surface also resemble the indentations left by raindrops. The large rings formed by the rain in the water are the red and white circles.

I did my education at art academy Minerva in Groningen. Next to my painting I started photographing after 2007. The still life has my great preference and the 17th century is my source of inspiration.
