About the artwork

The Rao Lakha Chhatri is an impressive royal memorial located in Bhuj, in the heart of Gujarat, India. Built in honour of Rao Lakha, sovereign of the kingdom of Kutch, this site bears witness to the architectural refinement of the period. Its sculpted domes, finely crafted columns and elegant arches recall the influence of the Rajput and Mughal styles.
Although partially damaged by the 2001 earthquake, the Rao Lakha Chhatri retains its timeless charm. Erosion and time have given its sandstone stones a patina, adding a touch of melancholy to this place steeped in spirituality and memory.
Exploring this little-known site reveals a fascinating historical relic, where the history of the ancient rulers of Kutch blends with the architectural beauty of India. An ideal place for those with a passion for heritage, photography and history.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
