Reactor number 5 under construction, Chernobyl. The nuclear disaster in 1986 with reactor number 4 at Chernobyl brought all development in the area to a standstill. There were 6 reactors planned of which 5 and 6 were never finished. This image was photographed with an infrared camera at a wavelength of 550 nanometers, giving everything that lives an almost radioactive red glow. Especially trees glow red! Here you can see that nature is stronger than we think!
