This is a budding bud of the ginger plant family (Shell Ginger or Alpinia Zerumbet). This plant can grow up to 3 to 4 meters high. When this flower blooms, the whole environment will smell of it.
The flowers themselves still have to extend telescopically from the white-red buds. The green bracts that envelop the buds will fall off by themselves. This whole process takes several days and mainly happens at night. The soothing green hues of the leaves complete the picture.
The colors in nature are always very refined; a painter could hardly imitate this. This is a good example of the photos I like to take: filling the screen without editing the colors. In this way I try to pay tribute to the colors of the jungle.
