In autumn, the Japanese garden in the Clingendael estate is open for visits for a short time. Due to the fragility of the garden, opening is limited. It is a popular place to visit, so getting a photo without people is still an art.
The beautiful autumn colours and reds and oranges of the Japanese maple contrast nicely with the fresh green of the other trees and shrubs. The pink colour is further reflected in the water.
The stone post in the water serves as a focal point for meditation and contemplation.
