A fantastic work which, in a black frame/passe-partouts, is sure to stand out in any interior.
A round peephole depicting a dying tulip. The hole is a hole in a wall in the Japanese garden in The Hague. An irregular grid has been placed in this. The tulip's leaf peeks over the edge. The background is a stem of a sailboat which, with rust and stains, makes a nice artistic background. The colour red varies from bright to deep red. The image was created by an assignment to photograph/create something with the main colour red. Working with layers gave me the opportunity to create this image and the beautiful shapes and markings of the flower and pistils were decisive for me to use in this photo. It is definitely a warm photo where - when you use a black passe-partouts - it makes a beautiful photo for living room or bedroom.
