It is a cold winter morning in January. As I sail in the middle of the Biesbosch, out of nowhere a thick fog sweeps across the water and land. Visibility is sometimes no more than 20 metres. I decide to lie close to the bank with the boat and first have a cup of coffee to warm up. For a moment, the fog clears and I can take this photo of a grebe swimming along the yellow reeds.
