Red painted wooden houses and buildings are often seen in Scandinavian countries. The paint is also called Falurood, after the copper mines in the Swedish town of Falun where it is made.
The white reindeer antlers contrast nicely with the red wall.
The photo was taken during an expedition trip on sailing ship S/V Northern Lights to Spitsbergen (Svalbard, Norway).
