Carmen Todita is geboren op 30 november 1961 in Turnu-Severin in Roemenië. Zij groeide op in Transsylvanië, het meest sprookjesachtig deel van Roemenië. Ze hield als kind al van tekenen en schilderen en haar tekenblokken stonden snel vol.
