Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.

About ‘Rembrandt reproduction’ by Maik Weidemann

A contemporary interpretation of classical Baroque portraiture. This work pays homage to the masterpieces of Rembrandt van Rijn. The portrait of the gentleman, with his distinctive wide black hat and ornate lace collar, has been brought to life using a multi-layered mixed-media technique. The harmonious interplay of vibrant acrylics, soft chalk and precise coloured pencil textures creates a sense of depth on the canvas. The visible texture and the combination of classical motifs with modern drawing media make this painting a stylish eye-catcher for lovers of classical art with a modern twist. I painted this artwork in 2022 and the canvas measures 30×40cm.
