About ‘Ribeira da Janela Storm’ by Loris Photography

In the early morning, even before the sun shows itself, an ominous silence reigns near the rocks of Ribeira da Janela. The air is heavy and stormy, clouds sweeping fast and low over the ocean, chased by the wind. From the churning waters rise the striking rock pillars - rugged, powerful, like petrified giants that have defied the waves for centuries.

The sunrise slumbers behind the cloud cover, its presence felt but still invisible. The water is wild, the surf turbulent, and the first light breaks through only dimly - like a promise in the distance. The scene is stark and grand, a moment when nature shows its rawest side. Here, between rock and sea, you feel small but alive - as if the world is about to wake up, but first breathes in silence.
