About the artwork

This piece captures a moment of serene ascension, a journey from the depths towards the light. The central figure, a lone swimmer, represents the human spirit—resilient, curious, and ever-reaching. Positioned slightly off-center, the figure’s relaxed posture contrasts with the dynamic environment, emphasizing a sense of calm amidst motion.

The bubbles surrounding the swimmer are not just indicators of movement but symbols of release—letting go of burdens, fears, and constraints. They rise alongside the figure, merging with the beams of sunlight that pierce through the water. These rays of light are the painting’s heartbeat, guiding the viewer’s eye upwards and evoking a sense of hope and transcendence.

The blue hues dominate the canvas, creating a vast, immersive underwater world. The interplay of light and shadow adds depth and drama, highlighting the swimmer’s silhouette and casting a dreamlike quality over the scene. What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
