The Roman House was built at the end of the 18th century with Goethe's co-operation and is an important testimony to Weimar Classicism. This historical depth was both a starting point and inspiration for me. I was attracted by the idea of showing an architectural monument not just as an object, but as part of a living landscape.
With this picture, I wanted to create an atmosphere of stillness and balance - a moment of concentration on the essentials. It is about the interplay of culture and nature, of history and the present.
In an interior setting, this work brings a subtle depth. It is particularly suitable for spaces that are intended to promote calm and reflection - whether in a private living space or in a working environment that emphasises cultural accents.
