The sea crashes destructively against the beach of the holiday resort of Zierow in the Bay of Wismar in an easterly wind. It eats into the land metre by metre. Coastal protection is needed here, which is of course always a question of money, but necessary. The roots of the coastal forest bordering the sea have been washed free. This makes the trees unstable and at some point, when wind, stormy seas and the temperature differences of the seasons take effect, the tree falls.
