The early morning is my main focus when it comes to photography. I set my alarm for this occasion at 6.00 am to be able to capture the 6.30 am sunrise. From the hotel I glanced outside to see if the weather was good for a sunrise. I doubted it... it didn't look as good as I hoped. Yet I took the decision to go and that turned out to be a good decision! I had found a nice spot in the Katendrecht district where you could see the skyline of Rotterdam at its best. With my tripod and camera at the ready the sun came up and I was surprised by this crushing sunrise which shined its light over the skyline of Rotterdam.
