Philippi / Φίλιπποι (Daton) is a Thracian and Macedonian city (362 BC) and fortress that was conquered and expanded by the Romans and is the oldest Christian community in Europe as well as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and always worth a cultural as well as historical visit.
