This picture shows a calm water landscape in which a row of wooden poles runs in a curved line into the water from the left side. The poles protrude rhythmically from the still water, creating a natural interplay of lines that leads the eye to the horizon. In the foreground on the right, reed plumes sway gently in the wind. The sky is partly cloudy and softly coloured, indicating the last light of the day.

While strolling along the waterfront, this row of poles caught my eye - a remnant of something that was once functional, but now mostly radiates calm and rhythm. The combination of stillness, structure and reflection inspired me to capture this moment.

The atmosphere is hushed and contemplative. The soft light and repetition of shapes bring a sense of calm and balance. It is an image that invites you to slow down.

For me, the poles symbolise a path without haste - a reminder that not everything has to have a destination. The work invites you to let go and just be in the moment.

The photo was taken with a slow shutter speed to smooth the surface of the water and soften the reflections. The composition was carefully chosen to emphasise the curvature of the poles and create a sense of depth.

With its soft blue-purple colours, minimalist character and natural rhythm, this work fits perfectly into modern, Scandinavian or soothing interiors. It brings peace and space to any room.
