Royal Air Force Red Arrows in action.
The Red Arrows is a demonstration team of the British Royal Air Force (RAF). Founded in 1965, the team flew seven Folland Gnat class aircraft at the time.
The Red Arrows fly at airshows around the world. The RAF's best pilots are selected for the team. In 1979, the team was equipped with nine BAe Hawks.
