"Rural ambience: Fluff with tiny water droplets" is a photo I took of some fluff. Very small water droplets hang from this fluff.
When taking this photo, I chose to keep the depth of field in this photo small. This means that I keep the part that is in focus (In this photo, the front piece of fluff, where the stalk turns into fluff) small and everything behind this piece that is in focus gradually fades out. I did this for two reasons: First, to create a sense of depth in the photo. The blurred background makes the photo look like it has depth. Secondly, I wanted to pick out a fluff "out", to put the focus on that. This creates a kind of calmness in the photo by not focusing on the whole image.
This piece could hang beautifully in the bedroom, dining room or, of course, just above the sofa in the living room!
