"Rural simplicity: Heads up! A dried damsel-in-the-green lets its head hang" is a macro photo of a dried box fruit of a damsel-in-the-green (also called Nigella Damascena).
The stem of this plant is kinked at the top, making it look as if this dried plant is letting its head hang. A calm and simple image which has a rural natural look.
When taking this photo, I opted for a shallow depth of field, which gradually blurs everything in front and behind the focus area. If you zoom in on the photo, you can see this. The background has a fairly even shade of light brown - taupe beige-like colour, which creates a natural and calm look.
