From the small summit platform to the ground, that is about 30 meters at the Sachsenstein in the Bielatal. These are meters in altitude that have to be climbed, not in a dangerous way, but in a seemingly daring way, in order to enjoy the view from the very top. The bright yellow ladder rises so steeply, leads so narrowly through rock crevices, that any backpack and other superfluous equipment should remain below. Then you just have to watch out for "oncoming traffic", because the same steps that lead to the top also lead back down.
