The photo was taken at the lagoon that lies at Île du Grand Gaou near Six-Fours-les-Plages on the southern coast of France; not far from Toulon. The lagoon provides protection for boats when there are storms on the Mediterranean. The typical shape and rigging of these boats can be seen everywhere in the south of France. While you're there, be sure to visit Sanary-sur-Mer. You can find dozens of these unusual sailboats in the harbor there.
I tried to create an atmosphere that expresses tranquility on the one hand and shows a change in the weather on the other. Less than two hours later, a violent storm broke out.
In this way, the photograph fits into any interior.
