About the artwork

In this picture from my "Sailboat Art" series, maritime lightness and urban rigour meet. The sailboat glides through a mirror-smooth expanse of water, while in the background the harbour city is broken up into geometric areas of colour. The clear forms and the contrasting colour palette - from cool blue tones to warm red and orange nuances - create an exciting balance between movement and statics.

The picture plays with the idea of freedom in the context of densification: the sailing boat becomes a symbol of individuality and expanse, while the abstracted high-rise buildings embody the dynamism of modern metropolises. The reflections in the water reinforce the impression of a surreal, almost dreamlike scene in which reality and abstraction merge.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
