About ‘Sand dunes Balloërveld’ by Bernard van Zwol
One of the most beautiful spots on the Balloërveld is a small sand drift with sand dunes. The heather has flowered out, Wind and rain always affect the shapes of the dunes.
The shapes, the sunlight on the sand and the soft blue hue of the slightly cloudy sky make this place radiate tranquillity.

I was born in Leens in Groningen and moved around a lot. Meanwhile we, my wife and I live in Assen. The children are out the door. I have been working with photography since I was 16 years old. First with a Ricoh 35 ZF , later switched to SLR camera's of Praktica and Olympus ( analogue ) and now for many years Nikon. I like to make yearbooks of the format 30 x 30. The camera always goes with me when I am out and about.
