Always in a hurry and never still — the sanderling is a cheerful sight along our beaches. With its quick little legs, it runs just ahead of the waves, searching for tiny snacks. This winter visitor from the far north brings energy and charm to the coast, even on the coldest days.
Art on canvas looks great on any wall. It truly comes into its own with paintings featuring sharp brushstrokes.
I am outside whenever possible: on foot, on my motorbike or in the boat. Living on the edge of the Biesbosch, I can often be found there. But we also like to travel, as -for example- the photos from Thailand show.
As you can see, a lot of my attention goes out to birds, but I also have an eye for the rest. In addition to nature, I also regularly photograph weddings and concerts.
