About ‘Scheiwijk mill in a Dutch landscape’ by Ruud Morijn
The Scheiwijkse Molen near the village of Hoornaar (municipality of Molenlanden, province of Zuid-Holland) is a wooden hollow post mill built in 1638 to drain the Polder Het Land der Zes Molens. The mill is still milling, but the water level in the polder is now maintained with more modern pumping stations.
