I took this photo of a lighthouse on the former island of Schokland in the Northeast Polder. This lighthouse stands near the former harbour on the northern part of Schokland. This lighthouse was used for shipping on the Zuiderzee, after reclamation this lighthouse has no use anymore. You can only see two-thirds of the lighthouse, I must admit that this tower is not very tall. Despite this small lighthouse not being high, I used a 55-300mm telephoto lens to photograph the upper part of this lighthouse. This photo is an HDR photo consisting of 3 photos with different exposures, I also used a polarisation filter to make the sky even bluer. I liked the colour of the construction of tower contrasting nicely against the blue sky. I don't think this lighthouse's lamp comes on at night.
