About ‘Scottish highlander staring into the camera’ by Rob Rollenberg
This Scottish Highlander looking into the camera radiates what this bovine is. Relaxed, gentle but also dangerous because of its horns. Reduced the colour intensity of this photo a little so that it is less conspicuous in the interior.
This photo was taken in the dunes near Bergen aan Zee.

I mostly shoot outdoors: landscapes, birds, anything that scurries or flies. A Fujifilm X-T5 with a set of primes (16mm, 23mm, 35mm) covers the wide shots; the 150-600mm gets me closer to birds and wildlife than I'd ever manage on foot.
Every now and then I trade the landscape for a detail: a car, or an insect through the 80mm macro. Back home, every image gets a pass in post: contrast sharpened, the unimportant bits darkened, until it matches what I had in mind.
