A rugged and somewhat deserted stretch of coast - called Bollumerbocht - on West Ameland. Just a bustle of a churning sea, of birds coming and going on the breaker and an ever-transforming sky.
Taking a good vantage point created the feeling of 'infinity'. At the tip of the breaker, everything comes together - in almost symmetrical triangles - under a beautiful cloudy sky.
I would describe the atmosphere as infinity, desolation, ruggedness and coolness, and for me this is well reflected in the black and white version of the photo
I took this photo during an inspirational photography trip. I like perspectives and a play of lines in my photos's. I find the triangular shapes created fascinating and it helps guide the viewer's gaze from one angle to another.
Photography has been my interest for many years. In recent years I have gone a little deeper into it because I wanted to develop myself further as an amateur photographer.
